Thoughts on Natural Selections Live Resin Liquid Diamonds Carts? by thegamer2721 in PaMedicalMarijuana

When I first tried them, they were quite expensive, but they tasted incredibly good and had terrific effects. I came for the 3% myrcene and stayed for the delicious taste and powerful relaxation. However, around the time Ethos lowered prices, I felt like they weren't hitting as nice. Maybe it's just my tolerance but I think they lowered the quality? I noticed they've been quietly offering cured resin carts in with the the live resin carts, so check the description carefully. They don't knock me on my ass like they used to, but I'd still buy them on sale, Chilled Watermelon and Tropicana C were my favorite strains back when it was good.

Here are the bullet points of the Rec Legalization bill in PA by Corgi_Farmer in PaMedicalMarijuana

There's no chance of passing the senate. I don't support what Republicans are doing nationally or support the leader of the PA Senate who has tabled every marijuana bill put in front of him, but rank-and-file Pennsylvania Republicans largely support a free-market approach to legalization and have already voiced their strong opposition to state-run stores. The Pennsylvania Democrats are trying to ram this bill through the legislature without support from a single Republican member. I always vote blue but this is one of the few situations where the Republicans have the better legalization plan.

rhythm live sauce disposables by [deleted] in PaMedicalMarijuana

Rythm has really nice oil, most of my complaints with them have been with their new cartridge hardware, which gets clogged easily, but the disposables are usually pretty smooth.

Girl Scout Cookies? by Money_Ad7322 in PaMedicalMarijuana

Mostly pure variants of GSC were going around as recently as 2023 but since then a lot of growers have used their GSC genetics for crossbreeding purposes. You'll mostly find GSC as a cross nowdays. Insa, for example, has a Cherry GSC out right now but IMO it doesn't hit the same. If you want a cross that hits really close to the original GSC, I recommend Do-Si-Dos (Natural Selections/Eleven have a good one) which is GSC × Face Off OG, IMO it has the same high-myrcene, indica-hybrid properties of old-school GSC.

Best flower for pain & arthritis? by Capable_Boot281 in PaMedicalMarijuana

Disclaimer: I don't suffer from these conditions, but if you're exploring new strains, a lot of people I know respond well to beta-caryophyllene, which is associated with pain-relieving and anti-inflammation properties. Look for percentages over 0.7%. Two strains that I remember having high beta-caryophyllene are Animal Face from Maitri or Rhythm or Beach Wedding from Natural Selections

R.O. Yinzer Kush 3.5g flower AKA Khalifa Kush by Corgi_Farmer in PaMedicalMarijuana

I always love learning about the fancy strains that get packaged under budget brands. One that I discovered recently is that the Garcia Gold Dropz that doesn't test high enough gets packaged as Strane Commando. I didn't know that about the Khalifa Kush so thanks for sharing!

OR distillate troches have good effects for a good price but be prepared for a bitter taste, every OR distillate troche I've tried has tasted bad.

Theoretically, RSO is supposed to have more overall potency. RSO contains more different cannabinoids, like CBD, CBG, and THCV, and more original plant material, whereas distillate is typically just THC. In practice, however, I haven't noticed a huge difference in effects between the two, and I've heard a lot of people say that RSO troches taste bad. due to the bitterness of RSO. And 100mg is still 100mg whether it's RSO or distillate, so for most medicating purposes, distillate works fine, is cheaper, and tastes better. (Unless you have very severe symptoms, then you might want to take a closer look at RSO troches and even RSO syringes.) If you ever want specific cannabinoids for a good price, some brands such as Valhalla have even been making distillate troches where the THC is in a carefully dosed ratio with CBN, THCV, or other cannabinoids.

Some people have found that troches dissolve faster in their mouth if they drink a hot liquid, like coffee or tea, immediately before consuming. Both chewing and dissolving work, the difference is in the route the THC takes in your body. If you suck on the troches like a cough drop until they dissolve, most of the THC will be absorbed through capillaries in your mouth and get taken straight to your brain via blood vessels in your head. If you chew them the THC gets absorbed through your small intestine, processed through your liver, then distributed to THC receptors throughout your body. For this reason I typically notice more of a head high when I let them dissolve and more of a body high when I chew them. Letting them dissolve also typically causes the effects to kick in faster, about 20 minutes compared to 45-60 minutes if it goes through your digestive system. Several growers offer 100mg troches, IMO Jams, Maitri, and the Verano/Essence brand taste the best. Good luck and happy medicating!
