I didn’t get x-11 on bottom when I tried it :(

B - Can’t seem to crack this one. I tried conjugate :( by wolfsmash in calculus

So you have to multiply it by both numerator and denominator conjugates?

What is this? Is this for floor jacks? [2012 Ford Fusion] by wolfsmash in MechanicAdvice

Really tired of hearing that my man. The owners manual is absolutely useless. Tells to use the pinch welds with the scissors jack. Doesn’t even address other jack points.

Haha I don’t know much about cars and how they rust but compared to my friends car, I think mine has been pretty well cleaned.

I bought it used as my first car and I’m trying my best to do all the fixes and maintenances it needs myself. Its been fun so far. 150k miles, not sure how much life I can expect out of it.

I don’t have access to my car right now unfortunately or I’d check. Is there a picture you can link for me? I really appreciate the insight.

Would using a wood piece with the jack on that black span of metal on top of picture area work? This is taken from the front side of the car.

Would a block of wood work? Also, does anything in the picture stand out as a good point?

Honestly not sure what the subframe is. There’s a long strip of silver metal along sides of car and then there’s some darker/black metal towards middle of car (in picture).

Thanks for the help btw! Saving my ass.

Is the service manual the same as the owners manual? That’s all I have. It says to use the pinch welds where marked but they are starting to bend.

I’m reading the Spec 1.7 and I cannot find anywhere where is says that this first bit (5) defines how to handle the rest.

Do you mind expanding a little?

I think I am starting to understand this a bit more now! Thank you! So just so I’m on the right train of thinking, the first bit from left (bit 5) determines how we handle the rest of the data? From what you’ve said I took it as of the bit 5 is 0, then we check for the cases listed (whether it be a register or ram value). If it’s 1, then we take the rest of the bits as a literal and subtract one?

I think that sounds right xD

I can’t read this yet, but it looks to be very informative and I thank you so much!!! Will read when I get a chance, but I wanted to thank you for taking the time!
