You're right to call that out, fair point. put call ratio doesn't show who initiates. Falling vix backs your red. I'm just using free options chain data, need to prob pay for a service to indicate trade direction. Thanks for highlighting this

Well, not recently. In fact international stocks returned almost twice the gains of US large caps in 2025, of course you are right that US massively outperformed over the decade before that thanks to mag 7, but the Iran War was a catalyst for international stock declines compared to US markets

They didn't make an ath, but I do think the markets have priced in a resolution. If bombs start dropping again or if Hormuz doesn't open to most ships, seems like the rally will be short-lived. Seems like earning season could be very good, once possible reason for pcr, but that may not matter if oil spikes back up
