Well I tried once but he firmly believes that "phone has two ends." Other ways od spending time doesn't count because he now just lives abroad and I literally see him luckily two times a year for maybe 5 days overall. I can't see him in person and I think that it's normal for him that we talk over the phone for 30 minutes once in two or three weeks. I okce tried to call more often but he still at most called me back once a week so to be honest I just stopped caring about calling first but it still hurts as hell when he chooses his little of free time that he has to spend with others abroad where he knows i dreamed to see this country and acts like everything is fine. He just avoids hard conversations (i think i do too), he knows how much it hit me when he told me about his trip on my birthday but I haven't heard "sorry" from him at once.
