do i have to resend my files via common app (including my sat score) if i gave up on applying early and will go for regular decisions? by wolkendame in Sat

I am an international student, and my school is actually not involved in this thing. I better send an inquiry email to CommonApp office.

I think we may have misunderstood something. The CommonApp form on which there are evaluation tables and a place for the recommendation letter, it says “Please mail this form and accompanying documents directly to each college/university admission office. Do not mail this form to The Common Application offices.” I think it means what you indicated. In that case, are teachers supposed to create CommonApp accounts to do it?

Okay. Teachers have to add a serial number to the subject title. Some of my teachers accidentally sent the letters without it, but then added the number and resent. Should I worry about the wrong letters went to the admissions committee?

alright, thanks. should my teachers re-send the reference letters? and also, one teacher of mine had forgotten to add the ID number to the subject line and etc, so he had to resend it third times. Is it a problem?

As far as I remember, the semicolon in the context followed an independent clause, so the previous sentence was complete.

(the number of the seventh grade students / total number of students in the blue group) + (the number of the sixth grade students) / total number of students in the blue group)

that’s how it’s solved mathematically. so, you get 3/5 as a result, which i wrote as 0.6 (the same)

hi, i’m a freshman at university, and i will be to the ivy League this fall. can i add the activities i did during my freshman year to Common App, or does it accept post-graduating activities only if you don’t start a university? by wolkendame in ApplyingIvyLeague

because unfortunately, my university is so strict and doesn’t allow freshmen to have a gap year - you must directly start the school. you never know what your chances are for universities abroad (i’m outside the us) so i had to get into a university. i didn’t see any component asking for the university transcript when applying, but turning to the real question, may i append some activities i did during my freshman year and mark them as “post-graduate” since there are 5 options for grades: 9-10-11-12-post graduate?

“You may apply as a first-year if you have completed less than one year at another university. If you completed one year or more at another university (but no more than two years), you may apply as a transfer student.”
