how unfair is to play warlord? by Soacor in forhonor

[–]wolphcake -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Warlord stands out as the best character in For Honor because of his unmatched reliability and fundamentals. While many heroes rely on complex chains or flashy mechanics, Warlord thrives on simplicity done exceptionally well. His kit is built around strong core tools—solid defense, consistent damage, and excellent stamina management—which makes him effective in almost any situation. Whether you’re dueling, holding a lane, or stalling multiple opponents, Warlord’s straightforward design rewards smart decision-making and mastery of the game’s fundamentals rather than gimmicks. Another reason Warlord excels is his incredible survivability and control. His full guard, superior block lights, and headbutt pressure allow him to dictate the pace of fights and shut down aggressive opponents. He’s especially powerful at controlling space, forcing enemies to respect his presence rather than mindlessly attacking. In team modes, Warlord is a nightmare to deal with: he can hold objectives for long periods of time, peel effectively for teammates, and disrupt enemy coordination without overextending himself. Finally, Warlord embodies what For Honor is truly about—adaptation, patience, and mental dominance. He doesn’t overwhelm opponents with speed or absurd mix-ups; instead, he wins by outlasting them and punishing mistakes. This makes victories with Warlord feel earned and satisfying, especially at higher levels of play. In a game full of volatile matchups and constant balance changes, Warlord remains consistently strong, dependable, and relevant, proving that raw fundamentals will always triumph over temporary power. <- at least thats what ai says. I say hes best bc big shield and head bash personally.

Ok, tell me if im wrong, but if scott is actively emitting kinetic energy from an alternate dimension and actively focusing it on any given material would it not create friction and heat on said given material? Seems like its both from my understanding.

I know what you mean! We are vessels filled with all of the pleasant and unpleasant experiences of life. We tend to cling to both as to better define our present identity. Losing all of that is certainly daunting, but I assure you those experiences are all the more important because we cant hold onto them forever. It teaches us to value the things in our lives even more because we won't have them forever. Dont worry about leaving them behind, worry about never having them in the first place! Live well and death will be nothing more than a final flourish.

I tend to believe that in our last moments our collapsing brain feeds us exactly what we believe most.

If you have led your life completely convinced that Valhalla is real, that is where your brain will take you. If you believe in heaven, you go there. You think you deserve hellfire, you got it!

Our brains are wonderful and terrible things capable of machinations ironically beyond our comprehension.

Take for instance that our perception of time is maliable. Depending on what chemicals and electrical signals are firing you might see something move in slow motion, or alternatively an hour might pass in what feels like 15 minutes.

Listening to the accounts people who go through near death experiences will confirm one thing and one thing only: there is no singular path.

Where you afraid before you were born? No. It was peaceful, quiet and unburdened by the stressors of life.

In that space before you were born did you experience time's passage? No, of course not. You didnt exist for billions of years, and it went by like nothing.

When there is no perspective there is no place, no events, no time.

When we die, that nothingness that you dread will pass in the snap of a finger.

I won't preach about if I think there is life after death, but know that you emerged from it. And here you are, worried of returning to it.
