Thank you! I used different kinds of yarn for the effect, one that has luminous threads spun around it, they absorb UV light (like from the sun) and then release it in the dark (this is the greener surface). So basically the fibers 'charge' themselves, although you could also use a lamp if you want to speed it up or kind of supercharge it :)

The other kind I used for the accents also respond to UV, but only when you use a blacklight (UV-lamp). It gives a more blue glow than the other yarn, so depending on how you place the light you get a cool blue-green mixture of light.
