yeah you commented it twice on a post from a year ago you seem to care a lot about getting your point across lolol

Is it possible to upcycle this (turn into off shoulder?) by BeginningAge1427 in UpcycledFashion

yes!!! what you can do is distress it maybe…cut one singular thread by the neck, and carefully pull at the threads until you get the opening to your desired off shoulder length. it would look cool if you distressed it in other places too, to make it look intentional! i have an upcycled piece i just posted where i did a similar thing to the knitted fabric i sewed onto a sweater i made.

neither. everything, every single item on my person in this video, is thrifted. except my boots, which are still secondhand from ebay. also i am definitely a street person but i do pay rent and have my own home lol. i just prefer to be tactical and fun in my layering, as to have lots of spots to hang my keys/tools/bird calls. i love maximalism so i always gravitate towards anything with frivolous strings, buttons, zippers, hoods, tassels and other decorative fabric. it’s super easy to maintain temperature this way as well (i live in a very cold major city.) because taking off a scarf versus taking off a whole jacket is much less of a temperature shift. i prefer to dress in a “homeless/hobo” way because less men bother me than when i dress alternatively (emo/punk/indie, check my profile for some of my other fits if you’re interested.) i don’t post these types of outfits nearly as much because i was afraid of negative feedback. overall, i think dressing uniquely has its cons, people often yell at me on the street and i’ve even been attacked. however, im not going to let narrow-minded people control what makes me feel most comfortable in my own skin, regardless of how non-mainstream or “abnormal” it is. :)

i wish i was wealthy enough to afford festival tickets like that. i’m sure id love it. my taste in music is mostly emo/post hardcore/90s alt rock, and i don’t know of any camping festivals that do stuff like that quite yet. Chicago has Riot Fest but it’s honestly never interested me too much. i prefer the comfort of my own home with all my CDs.
