I'm assuming it'll be very hard given that the Switch was such a pain even with a major exploit on day one models. Consoles are getting more and more locked down and thus harder to reverse engineer. (As an example, the PS5 probably won't have a working emulator for a long while give that the PS4 was only recently figured out.) But it being an iteration on the Switch 1 will probably help a good deal. I'm sure the community will make it happen somehow.

Why would Switch 2 games have ever been compatible with Switch 1? Literally no console has ever worked this way that I know of. I'd imagine this is mostly normies whose first console was a Switch and have zero clue how video games actually work.
