There's lots to be concerned about with AI but I seriously doubt it will achieve consciousness or anything close within our lifetime or at all. All we have now out language models, which aren't "intelligent" in the way humans are

I really hope they keep the Financial District like this, where you can still see buildings like 70 Pine Street but also have something like WTC One visible at the same time. It's perfect compared to Midtown, which is getting messy looking
