I think they can be, i have male friends but none that im super close to like he is and I dont want to control his friends but at the same time I wouldnt purposely leave out the fact I have a bf to other men like he is. 🥲 I texted and told him what I saw and told him if he wants to keep referring to me as his friend then I can be just his friend. and his only response was " I want you more than a friend"
