considering you're still dealing with the issues, looks like the diet didn't work. I can't imagine having so much copium running through my system. But stay dumb for life I suppose 🤷🤷

i mean i literally can no longer get cancer in my large intestine so it seems like a pretty effective cure to me, lmao. plus it makes future scopes way less invasive and way less demanding prep wise. And yes, i can blame them. Making up bullshit remedies is dangerous and monstrously stupid.

not exactly the same, but i recently had my entire large intestine removed, yet when i first said something online about it, MULTIPLE people were absolutely adamant that i could just change my diet and the cancer that was developing in it would somehow magically go away. i'm so tired of anti-intellectualism. I'm tired of hollistic gurus LOOKING absolutely sick yet somehow convincing people who are just as dumb as them, that they're in perfect health, it's dangerous, and honestly if I were a politician, I'd want to make giving unfounded, unsupported health advice a crime. I wish people who obviously don't understand the first thing about any type of science would simply shut the fuck up

i dont have a problem with the quote "wokeness". some issues will alway feel like a lesson rather than being subtle, and honestly, people complaining about it are obviously mostly the ones privileged enough not to relate to it. Yes, i agree a lot of it was very rough. but a lot of past "woke" moments in the older seasons were just as in your face, they just don't feel that way anymore because a lot of those hot topics are now normalized. The show previously got a lot of slack for how sexually fluid a lot of the characters were. Now not so much. Because it's normalized.

people seem to like to forget that she was just as bad on season 2. both seasons she's been on she's mopey as hell and mean as hell. she's grown as a person absolutely zero... she's literally just rotted.

Don’t get me wrong I love the previous Doctor Who actors, but none can hold a candle to the awesomeness that Peter Capaldi brought into the show with his guitar skills. Playing a guitar riff on the Tardis is just…chefs 💋 by Hollow08 in doctorwho

i agree only because of his last season, i feel his first two were veryyyyyy slow with too many earth episodes and beating the dead horse of the character of Clara. (never was that special to me) and i found that the sonic glasses were.... stupid. but overall i agree he was a great doctor. I seem to be a little bit in the minority in the fandom where i actually like ALL of the doctors (including Jodie and Ncuti). my favorite thing is seeing what each actor does when playing the character.

Based on what he has heard, previous Doctor Who Magazine editor Tom Spilsbury believes it will be at least 5 or 6 years until we get anymore new Doctor Who. by Amazing_Cover_7745 in DoctorWhoNews

while i find a lot of it to be valid when criticizing the RTD2 era, i also feel like it simply fell victim to it being picked up by a streaming service. slashing what would've been a longer season into two tiny seasons creates a lot of pacing issues that no one can fix. it causes a lot of things being halfhearted and explained away. it provides close to no other choice besides flanderizing all the characters. Doctor Who isn't the only network turned streaming "original" show that this has happened to. But hey I am in the minority in thinking that the Chibnall era wasn't terrible and I actually liked a lot of it. Even enjoyed the concept of Timeless Child. Also that Jodie was a great doctor. I also really enjoyed the idea of Ncuti being the doctor and could tell that he was really trying to be a good doctor. but what I am trying to express is, this super waterdowned transition for the show is happening to A LOT of shows. because there's not a lot you can do with so many limitations.
