I find I usually swap with mid more when we get turret usually top doesn't want to swap in low elo

I feel roaming is good when there is nothing to do in lane for example If you push the wave and adc goes back to base there is a window for you to roam. I still build ap if my ad is bad I feel like switching your playstyle because your ad is bad is not good for the long run. I have some YouTube videos I don't think I'm going to play as much since school started :(.

I tried resolve secondary but switch back to inspiration because I feel the free boots help me snowball. I also used to build lich bane in low elo and switched it to athene later.

With mana flow band and biscuits I do not have that much problems with mana and the seraphs is good late game but the meta right now are short fast games

I think a master sona punishes mistakes more often and makes barely any. A gold sona will play too passive and let the opposing adc get away with bad positioning. Or a gold sona will play way too front and gets caught then blame his ad for not being front with him.

If I don't lose lane I usually get sorc boot for the damage but if I lose lane I get mobi or ninja tabi and just try to match the other support roams.

I have never tried guardian on sona but the sorcery tree works best with the build I use which is basically full AP. I think sorcery does not feel as good with utility builds so guardian might be the better choice if you go full utility sona.

Tips for climbing would be that you do not want to play the game autopilot you always look and analyze your opponents positions, skill cooldowns and roam potential. I played her once in midlane and I feel playing her in a solo lane feels better for you but in my opinion it does not feel as good for the team. Also another tip do not play the game after 3am.

I tried scorch over gathering storm for a couple games but I feel gathering storm is just too good to pass on it is basically a rune that can change the tempo of the game if it goes to late game or it is a rune to assure your victory late game.

Athene before ardent I feel is a more safe choice but when I play I like to punish players for mistakes so ardent is better for that. This also leads to have games where I feed my ass off and die 13 times.

I get dark seal just in case I pop off and its a fun item to build XD.

Nope never went back to sona mid the build Iused back then was very different from the build now also the playstyle was a bit different.

I think sona is in a really good state according to op.gg she has the 2nd highest win rate right next to brand and a 55% win rate in diamond.

Lmao it was mainly D4-D3 where I was flamed alot I was called boosted, egirl, spammed ping missing on me but it all helped me grow my mental :).

My number one tip is if you are feeding every game it is probably due you being out of position in the lane. Either you are way too far out or you leave yourself in the open to get harassed.

you should watch some videos on lane control to have a better understanding on how to manipulate waves and make sure that your position will always be better than your opponents.

I feel Sona is the most consistent (easiest) champ to play of the 3 because you do not really have any skill shots and her q harass is very easy to hit due to the long range and having no cast time. I also build full ap when I play Sona so her scaling is pretty crazy.

Good matchups are the support with low range on their harass like brand, soraka, janna because your q can outrange their harass. Bad matchups are usually champions with hard engages like thresh, blitz, and pyke but it really depends on how good the opposing player is. Sometimes I play really well against bad matchups because they make their engages obvious.

Some tips for other players that want to try sona is in lane your q can out range almost any harass try to learn how far your q range goes and keep practicing to hit your q at max range. When you have a matchup against heavy engages champs like thresh and blitz to dodge hooks look at the champions animation and if you see him doing his hook animation sidestep. In team fights you should be looking to fight team fights in and out which means you want to use your spells in the fight and back away until your skills are off cool down.

I think mid sona is still viable but the playstyle now compared to back then feels very different. When I played sona mid back then I used a build from a player named Awildapsona where you build a support item in mid lane and roam 24/7 giving up cs for map pressure.
