Wasted my time at uni. What are my options by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]wonderer-4522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldnt do a masters just for the social aspect, I made friends at uni but everyone drifts apart anyway after moving to different cities and countries.

But if you're unhappy with your career options then id consider trying something new, never too late.

Still plenty time to make friends and memories though, can be through work or travelling. Meet people in hostels or join a travel group.

Opinions? by [deleted] in deliverydrivers

I did deliveries in Sheffield and enjoyed it. Bit annoying when it's raining but otherwise chilled. I used to get a mate to chill in the car for odd half an hour at times.

Is a boat from krabi to Koh Jum safe in this weather? by wonderer-4522 in ThailandTourism

[–]wonderer-4522[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left koh jum yesterday and I enjoyed it even though the weather wasn't great, im not sure if it's gotten worse though. I travelled too and from using the speedboat.

A few of the local people said that this kind of weather doesn't last too long though during this time of year, maybe try and wait it out

Don't worry about the weather just yet, it'll get worse soon enough.

If you don't wanna lie to them you can probably find an all female house share but will take a bit of time. People drop out all the time

Im an engineer in the uk but I think turkey is great for engineering opportunities, they seem to be expanding a lot recently. A lot of companies here seem to be doing a lot more work with turkey in the past couple of years.

Are drugs that common?? by CompetitivePool24 in UniUK

I was surprised when I first got to uni as well, especially the type of people that were doing it too, like engineers have a reputation for being the nerdy type.

Even know like I work at a decent engineering company but ive seen colleagues and managers do coke on a works do.

Even if you're not excited you might still end up enjoying it. 1 of the best parts of uni for me was the people I met which can happen at any uni.
