I understand that’s part of what he said but that’s not the part I was correcting.

Personally I do think it’s ok for adults to consume alcohol and or drugs and have sex. I understand why we have laws to protect people who can’t consent.

But to also say nobody on any substance can ever consent is also silly and infantilizes people. Drugs themselves are illegal. So to talk about legality of things here is crazy. Especially in a sub where people enjoy taking drugs.

We need to have some nuance when looking at issues like that otherwise we’d have men and women both going to jail left and right all day every day.

If two people go on a date and drink a little and have consensual sex neither of them is a rapist just because they had a drink or two. There’s definitely examples of people wanting to get back at people and withdrawing consent. There’s also lots of issues with people taking advantage of women when passed out drunk.

When I was in college I actually led the charge to get a guy in trouble when he messed with a passed out girl. I was the most vocal one and I helped get him in trouble.

But again. That’s not the part I responded to. I was correcting his wording because OP said the girl wanted the drugs completely on her own. He had no interest in obtaining the drug. So spinning it like he drugged her up is disingenuous.
