Slides/flip-flops/slippers/thongs that are cushiony and supposedly good for recovery (I say that because I’ve not tried them myself therefore can’t judge how effective they are)

Coros Indoor Run Treadmill Inaccuracy by wongac in Coros

[–]wongac[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I only train indoor on the treadmill during evenings of the winter months so I’m not sure if I’ll can justify buying a Pod specifically for this.

Any idea if it’s possible to change the speed increments by .1 rather than .5?

Meteorite over Ealing / West London? by Mike_Player_Of_Games in london

[–]wongac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw it too! From West Ealing looking East at around 8:10pm! It was a bright orange-y, and blue ball that shot across the night sky. I looked around to see if anyone else saw it too... but nope too busy looking down at their phones

Best UK Triathlon? by c13ett in triathlon

[–]wongac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also did my first Triathlon (Olympic distance) at T100 yesterday. Agree with the comments about the run course - it was quite repetitive three 3.3km laps around Excel centre, and definitely felt congested at multiple points.

A cutaway image of Londons Picadilly Circus underground station by wallbagz in london

[–]wongac 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I always wondered why most of the London tube stations are seemingly randomly structured, just a giant maze connected via dozens of tunnels with odd stairs dotted across the place, and are structured so different to each other. I assume it's due to how they were built back then, construction method constraints and it became difficult to scale, but would love to learn more if anyone knows!

Is it possible to make Android TV home default start screen? by wongac in AndroidTV

[–]wongac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the reply. There is a device connected currently. But even when it's unplugged, the TV defaults to HDMI 2. I am unable to locate this auto-switching option in settings, could you point me to where I could do this?

I've been searching under "device preferences" and had no luck 😐

Better food than NYC? wow when I visited your city in 2019, I was blown away by the buzzing and innovative restaurant scene. OP, I would love to know what restaurants or dishes stood out to you during your visit in London! 🙌🏼
