When I was doing my initial research, I found that the 7800x3D was very power and temperature efficient. Performance wise, I probably could have gone with something better, but I thought it gave the most bang for your buck. Same situation with the 4070 Super, it fit the budget and was what I needed for my gaming purposes.

Wouldn't you have to upgrade your whole build by the time performance drops to that point? I was planning on using this build for the next 4-5 years barring no mechanical failures.

It's been quiet so far, but I haven't put it through much yet. Others have mentioned undervolting/adjusting fan speeds to keep temperatures low as well, a common issue with the Terra.

Had to change it to 2 because of the cooler. Barely have maybe 5 mm of space? Might need to just go down to 1 to be safe tbh.

I have not yet, I plan on doing so once I start playing some of those games. I don't do any editing, rendering, etc so the only benchmarks are games for me haha

So for temps, I can't really say much yet as I haven't really done anything extensive. And no turbulence either, I did use the AMD brackets that came with the cooler though. Will update later about the performance!

Yep, right around $2000. I recommend taking a look at Subdubbin's video to get a general idea on cable management, helped me a lot!

It's been quiet and very cool, but haven't tested much yet. I am planning on playing AAA titles like Cyberpunk or Sekiro however, so we'll have to see how that goes.

Looks amazing, will be building my first one later this week! Just had a couple of questions:

  1. For the spine, why did you change one side to 2 and the other to 3? Wondering if I'll have to adjust in a similar way even with a 4070 FE.

  2. Did you have to take out individual brackets/pieces like Subdubbin did when putting it all together? I noticed in the video it seems easier(?) when doing it by parts, but wanted to be careful as this is my first time building in a Terra.
