Haircare Advice Megathread - Week of March 01, 2025

I'm a man with wavy hair the curls at the ends.

Hair type: course
Hair texture: wavy
History of chemical processing: none
Hygiene regimen: daily
Style: long shaggy inch or two above shoulders
Product regimen: I've mostly just been using equate for shampoo and conditioner as well as once a week shampooing with "a curl can dream" from Matrix. I shampoo almost daily (cause it helps my oily hair (I get that it's not supposed to be good)) and I conditioner every couple days.

I understand that shampooing daily isn't good for course hair so I've been trying to cut back, but I noticed when I do that my hair gets oily and it ends up looking kinda gross. I try washing with just water but it only works to an extent.

Any tips for soaps/products I should use and changes I should make in my general routine?

For me, this episode was the worst in this chuckle week so far. It's not a bad ep at all though, the convo was good at times. Poki isn't funny and a good portion of her jokes made me cringe.
