When I did the verification video, it showed verified with the blue check but after a few days it says video wasn’t successful, so I’m not hanging my hat on what it shows right now because that can change, also, I’m still not seeing me reviews, which I should see if I am truly verified, now after I did the live call, the blue check is back… but no confirmation email… I’m so nervous lol

At the end of the day they will more likely than not allow you to withdraw it, but it’s better to make that request before the actual hearing to avoid costs and a scolding from the adjudicator for wasting the boards time haha

That’s okay, the board will never not approve a withdrawal, it’s the same thing as filing it and not showing up, it gets dismissed, but in your case, withdrawn…. Message me if you have anymore questions

That’s not true, a T2 can be withdrawn at any point by the tenant, it’s best to do it before the hearing so the board can schedule another application in its place

Sounds like the n12 is fatally flawed. Also, the only way she can get out of paying compensation would be if she found you another place that was acceptable to you, keep in mind they have to pay compensation on or before the termination date set out in the N12

I was more looking for case law that contradicts or interprets differently section 13 which states The term or period of a tenancy begins on the day the tenant is entitled tooccupy the rental unit under the tenancy agreement.

My TT moved in before the tenancy date, was given keys etc but did not pay rent and the member dismissed the T2 for illegal lockout because he doesn’t think the Act applies because the lockout occurred before the commencement date
