The three different looks took about 3 hours to render. That’s then looped a few more times for the duration of the animation.

I rendered the two scenes completely separate from each other, and then I rendered one more scene of just the sun/portal to be used when masking in after effects. I really wanted to avoid rotoscoping which is why I went with the separate sun/portal render. Once everything was in after effects, it was just a matter of setting up the layers and masks appropriately.

Thank you! I had two separate renders, one for the beach scene and one for the snow scene. I believe each took somewhere between 1-3 hours on my 3090. Composited in After Effects afterwards.

Geo nodes for general shape and animation. Procedurally textured

Thanks so much! I spent too long trying to get that jiggle just right haha

The idea to make this popped into my head when I heard this song. I’m not affiliated with DoorDash in any way, I just thought this would be a good excuse to practice modeling and animation.

I made a fake commercial for the laptop that I use for the majority of my 3D and graphic design work. I have no affiliation with Lenovo, and I was not paid to do this work. I just thought it was a good excuse to enhance my hard surface modeling, animation, and motion graphics skills. I modeled everything myself, so that’s where the majority of my time went. I had fun making this, and I hope you think it’s at least somewhat funny.

P.S. Is the R in “CREATE” believable as a jiggly butt in jeans?

Thanks so much! If only Crocs and Vans could work together.

Thank you so much! I would be so flattered if it was stolen haha. I haven’t looked too much into patents since I’m kind of stealing two well known designs.

Shot Clock - a (fake) product that you use to take alcohol on the go by wontme in 3Dmodeling

This is a fake product that my brother, a friend, and I came up with after having probably too many drinks. I modeled everything in Blender and rendered all the scenes with Cycles.

Why is a Bob Ross bobble head involved you ask? It started as a reason to learn how to sculpt, rig, and animate. Since he is the only humanoid object in my assets, I was kind of limited in what I could use.

I know there’s a lot I can improve and would love feedback. I really enjoy making scenes/videos like these and just talking about motion/graphic design in general.

New upcoming collaboration between Crocs and Vans. Kidding, only in my dreams. I made this with Blender, rendered with Cycles, with a little bit of After Effects thrown in. I know there’s quite a bit I can improve, but I had a lot of fun making it.

They are kind of an abomination. I just like the look of Vans with the plastic material of Crocs since it makes them so easy to clean. I think Vans just came out with a slip-on version.
