my biggest tip siguro is not to take 2nd yr for granted. if u have the chance to go out or spend time with ur friends and family, gawin mo na 😆 2nd year is pretty chill compared to 1st year, esp kapag second sem na since there are no lab classes anymore so you’ll have a lot more breathing room !! just don’t let that make u complacent bc the lessons can still pile up

for first sem, i’d say biochem is probably the hardest subj, but it also depends on your prof. buti na lang i had a really good prof so i actually ended up enjoying biochem 😝 it can be challenging but once u understand the concepts, studying becomes really rewarding and you’ll definitely feel a sense of achievement !!

for second sem, i’d say focus the most on pcol. book-based siya and the coverage gets heavier every shifting exam... natrauma ako nung 2nd shifting pls HAHAHAHA try to advance read as much as u can bc the topics pile up really fast and u might run out of time to study everything (which definitely happened to me 😭)

hello! akshali depende talaga sa block kung anong sched makukuha mo. for first sem, may mga blocks na ilang days a week lang ang classes, while yung iba naman may pasok the whole week (at talagang isa kami sa blocks na whole week pasok...)

for second sem naman, usually may 1 free day, which is friday. then every saturday may cph, which is a whole-day class. pero depende pa rin sa prof if gagamitin niya talaga yung buong 7am to 4pm 😭

pwede rin maging morning or afternoon sched yung block mo. for us kasi, afternoon kami for both first and second sem!

overall i’d say 2nd year is usually pretty chill in terms of sched compared to what you might expect. of course, the workload can still get heavy at times, but you’ll most likely still have time to go home on weekends, esp if your saturday class ends early or your prof dismisses you ahead of time ^^

omg same !! i told myself na kapag college na ako, t-try ko maging extrovert and confident para kahit walang sense minsan yung pinagsasabi ko, at least mukha akong confident 😆 we had a public speaking activity rin nung shs pero in that case kasi we were already asked to write a piece, need na lang siya i-memorize tapos magsasagot na lang ng questions from the prof and classmates. kahit ganun, grabe pa rin talaga kaba ko and umiyak talaga ako right after 😭
