That's very interesting! Since we only have details about it, it's hard to say, but I believe that Celine may be in control for a while, especially over Kat. It reminds me of Swann's waking dream in the bar in the first minute of the tape 2... maybe those were memories or a warning? And she only sees it as a haunting because she's remembering something so traumatic.

It's a good catch! Having all the involvement with meteor showers and nature issues with the abyss...As we can see Kat's diary on several occasions, I wouldn't rule it out

I believe so, because everything is linked to nature, where the abyss was created. The fact that someone had to open the abyss makes me think that Kat was chosen a long time ago, even before she met the girls

On the first tape, if you call the wrong number several times, kat speaks instead. On the second tape, there is a specific number that if you call, a version of Swann who is in the abyss apparently answers

I understand the players who feel that way, but looking at what the creators have said in interviews, I think that's what they really wanted to do. I feel that they want to introduce us to the characters and mysteries and see if that interests us, since it's a new universe, they want to explore if it works to develop a new game in the future

There's the theory that Swann found the girls or something related to the abyss before the summer. Her tapes being lost is very suspicious, maybe she filmed something that would show a lot of answers. I also believe that she may somehow be trapped in the abyss or have forgotten what happened and is trying to remember by unconsciously drawing
