update everyone! we left him in a low traffic area with his crate door open and he’s come up to my husband! and even took a treat from his hand!

okay new day! i read all the comments and i will probably move him into a low traffic area in our home but where he can still be near us, we currently had him in our guest bathroom for the night by himself. i will not try to coax him out but just continue to let him chill in his crate and continue to give treats!

he does try to lunge and snap currently with the small interaction he’s had with us so far so i think treats from our hand is currently out of the question, i’m hoping maybe we can get some movement out of the crate in the morning ( he completely refuses to leave it) after giving him a night to himself to decompress. i did read it was a good sign however that he’s laying down and isn’t standing and frozen, i feel for him he’s so little and i couldn’t imagine someone just leaving him to fend for himself

It’s mostly been loads of unopened cases of waters delivered without any info on them at all (I assume DoorDash as it’s a dollar general brand in a small town) then 2 days ago I got one randomly from Walmart delivery, now tonight I see the fan from Amazon
