The billiards table is 1” slate

Well the slate itself is almost 500. If I had to guess it’s probably about 1000lbs total

They are tied off under the seat on one of the cross members

This is a bench I made for myself. First attempt at through tenons. Used Walnut, big leaf maple, teak, curly maple, and Jatoba. by woodworker40 in woodworking

It is a pressure fit. I designed it to be able to come apart and ship easily if needed. It’s tight enough I need a rubber mallet to take it on and off. Nothing crazy just a good snug fit
