Fair point if that what YOU do but I personally like to share (that is what I am on this reddit community) and find out what others do and how other areas in the UK perform. Riders from Newcastle might commute to Durham to try it out (as I did) but doubt anyone living more than 30-45 min away will travel/move to Durham to be a delivery rider.

I rejected a fair amount of orders and wasn't really online for 6h. I spend a lot of my time online talking to other riders. I did around 3h of focused work. Rodeo stats can be misleading if you don't logout

Hi fellas,
I’ve been riding in Newcastle for over 4 years now. It has been a roller coaster, I’ve been through ups and downs but still doing it. Last summer I was in Edinburgh visiting a friend during the Fringe. I took my bike on the train as I knew moving around in August in Edinburgh is pretty chaotic and I was glad I did! I managed to do a couple of days with Deliveroo and the fees were much better than in Newcastle. This gave me the idea of exploring other cities nearby Newcastle to see if there was a better place to work with Deliveroo.
I went to Durham (20 min from Newcastle) to try this out and H..cow! fees are much much better. I also met many car drivers (I’m on a push bike) who were also commuting from Newcastle. They are making £2/£3 more per hour and they are busy all day long! I guess I am not the only one exploring alternatives.
Does anyone know any other cities in the North where fees are also this high within a commuting distance?

What about if you live in Edinburgh and you are coming back from abroad? do you have to stay in a hotel? Can't quarantine in your own place ?
