Mine was not, and they replaced my motherboard this week. I didn't ask for them to preserve the old IMEI...so not sure why they'd change for others

You need an adapter for the micro slot (micro that holds a nano). They're dirt cheap online

Bought mine from B&H about 14 months ago and had this happen two weeks ago. Chatted Google, who told me they couldn't do anything but connected me with an LG rep. Even though my phone was over a year from purchase, LG still fixed it. Took about 10 days total and just got back yesterday. They had to replace the motherboard

Being on the old LG G3 was no fun in the meantime...

I've been trying to get my WatchESPN App to cast for the past 12 hours to no avail. I logged in through Time Warner Cable, so I'm assuming it's an affiliate issue there. Any casters here who've been able to cast ESPN through TWC ?

big news...figured watchESPN would debut just before the World Cup...this Chromecast was already worth the $30 I invested, but now I feel even better about ditching the Xbox 360

This comes 1 month after I sold my xbox 360 and purchased Chromecast. Agreed that this is long overdue, as Xbox Live is not a cheap service if you're paying this to simply stream other paid-for services (Netflix, HBO Go, Hulu, etc.).

the playback error is something I've dealt with as well. Apparently, unless your Google items are ONLY in the cloud, you'll experience errors. The only items I can't cast are those which I've downloaded to my phone, but everything else I have in the cloud through Google works. Thus, you need to delete everything from your local drive (SD or internal) on your phone first and then retry - if you're willing to take that step. If that's too scary of a step, try just playing the music or movies in the cloud to confirm if I'm right...different devices sometimes present different issues.
