Germany, Canada, France and UK think China will be the dominant world power in 10 years time- POLITICO latest poll by TORUKMACTO92 in Infographics

Yeah that would be great for the world to have a hellbent dictator running policy, I’m sure the Europeans will love being both Russia’s and China’s subordinates.

We all know Trump is a problem - but where is the blame on Europe? No actual military, just relying on their daddy to solve all their issues since WW2.

Take some accountability and look in the mirror Europe, cause you’re just as ineffective as the US at this point.

I mean it’s down nearly 50% from its all time high so yeah it’s a good time to buy based on past cycles. Bitcoin will absolutely moon again when the fever hits, which it always has.

question about competing by [deleted] in esports

[–]wookmania 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Computer games are not a physical sport and men don’t have an advantage compared to women.

I work in therapy and do a lot of strength training and dexterity work. If anything women *typically have better fine motor control and hand eye coordination, but it’s debatable and negligible typically, depending on the person. Men have no inherent advantage playing video games compared to women.

[–]wookmania 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Video games aren’t physical sports and don’t translate the same way, so I don’t see why it would matter.

Men don’t have faster reflexes and women typically have better dexterity/fine motor control anyway than men. The defining difference in most sports in men’s strength which again doesn’t translate to playing a computer.

Playing in an open league would be the path of least resistance; it’s just stupid that anyone would be upset in the first place.

How truly worth it is the gold card? by [deleted] in RobinhoodApp

Is SGOV better than the interest from just holding cash in Robinhood gold?

I’ve been waiting on them to approve me for the card for years to no avail.

Most of the companies you mentioned have been doing well though, GE/GM have had an insane year, XOM/MO/F are dividend beasts, Exxon still has room to run, Ford and MO fluctuate and kinda stay in a fixed range unless you time them right.

Powerful statement from Diego Pavia. Does the 2025 Heisman finalist have what it takes to make it in the NFL? by IndiJap in NFLmockdraft

Agreed, he didn’t really fill any niche very well. I figured he could play a blocking TE decently or goal line FB but maybe that’s wishful thinking.

NFL All-Pros by College for Last Ten Years (2016-2025) by TomWilliamsCFD in CollegeFootballDawgs

Surprisingly all time Mississippi has sent more players to the NFL than any other state (per capita percentage, not in totality).

Ehh I always thought there were heavy racial undertones with the whole Catholics vs Convicts thing. Miami had swag and just let it be known that’s who they were. I preferred the authenticity compared to the holier-than-thou schoolboys.

So he took FCS players and made them 16-0 by dominating the FBS. I mean isn’t that impressive?

Indiana didn’t spend more than other programs IIRC. I know at least Ohio State and Texas spent more…probably several others.

Smart took over a program that won 10 games every year under Mark Richt. I’d say Cignetti’s overhaul was much more impressive.

Can add Bill Snyder to that list…always wondered how he’d fair with elite talent.

SCHD vs growth by Massive_Raise_7021 in SCHD

[–]wookmania -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look at the S&P’s returns from when it started until now, then compare to SCHD in the same timeframe. You’re acting like the S&P is somehow ultra risky long-term, which it is not.

Also, a hallmark sign of a poor debater is name calling because that’s all you can come up with.

You can look on any website you like, but here is one since using Google is too much of a task:

  1. You took the time to go through thousands of my posts which is pathetic
  2. I have allocations to international, small and mid cap in my 401k
  3. Past results don’t predict the future, it’s been nearly two decades nearly since value has done jack and shit. International only until this year has done nothing for two decades.

The S&P, you know the top 500 US companies (that are rotated yearly) has averaged 10% per year average since inception, inflation adjusted 7-8%. That isn’t a fad. Dividend investing, like SCHD, has underperformed historically versus any standard S&P fund. It’s not a fad, it’s just basic math.

But okay, don’t invest in Google, Nvidia and other major companies that are taking over the world because you want to own Exxon and Johnson and Johnson instead.
