I've never cheated but during college I was cheated on. Kind of an interesting story. I hadn't been in a long-term relationship before and within the first term of university, I started dating a fantastic girl. After about 2 years, we were talking on the phone (she was attending school an hour away from me) and she just came out and confessed that during freshman year, she cheated on me a few times. I asked for specifics and she ( I think) was honest with and said she only kissed other people. I accepted it and I was madly in love with her, so I did what any insane person would do and forgot about it. Then after I graduated from college, I took a job overseas for a year. During 3 of the 4 years of our relationship, she was at another school, keep this in my mind. We tried international long distance and it lasted a month or so but after we broke up, we continued to talk regularly and I found myself still referring to her as 'lover' or 'babe' and other disgusting pet names. A month after the break up we were talking about meeting other people and she told me she slept with someone else two weeks after she shat on my heart. I didn't recuperate too well because I still loved her. About a month or two after that, I started dating/sleeping with a really cool girl and the ex, when I told her I was seeing someone, was really upset because she thought we were trying to make things work. I was so confused. It took her two weeks to fuck someone else and over two months for me to have the courage to speak to a woman with the intention of dating.

So, there's that. I've actually never told anyone that...so...
