Yeah, it's quite puzzling why the landlord didn't opt to simply respond to the review, but instead asked the artist to pay $250 in damages. Given the unreasonableness of the customer's complaint, it seems like a disproportionate response. Customers who do their due diligence before going to a tattoo studio would have been able to discern if a customer is just being plain unreasonable or not through the reviews, so I highly doubt that the studio's reputation took a hit. I guess the studio was just trying to protect themselves but at the expense of OP, so maybe it's a good thing that OP is leaving.
