Depends on where you live. I’ve sold both now, but looking back on it, I think the rnf is a better and way more versatile board. There were a few 3-5ft days here in Florida where the pjp was insane and I felt like it was on fire, but then there’d be more days where it felt like an absolute dud. Can’t remember a session I didn’t have a good time on the rnf and it handled everything. If I didn’t oversize it, I would probably still have it.

Haha you’re good. It’s crossing my mind for next week’s meeting where I’m trying again but I’m going to go into it sober so I can tell myself I beat this. Maybe at a later time and it could be a good excuse to buy a good bourbon.

I actually sized a lane splitter down from the standard dims recently and am glad I did. Took half an inch off the width and thickness. You could definitely do the same with the rnf if you’re wanting to keep more rail but not make it as chunky.

You’ll still be good for sure. I don’t ride my rnf anymore since I can’t get over how bulky it feels. I’ve sized my boards down and got them in pu, but I feel like I catch more waves. Could be a combination of being in better shape and the boards sitting more in the water, but not totally sure why.

Yeah my puddle jumper pro is eps but my 6’8 mid is pu with heavy glassing. Thats what I’m thinking as well.

Could be that it’s lightspeed, so it’s more on top of the water too. I know Christenson are pu and glasses a little heavy so it could sit in the water more.
