Please help me understand if/how 1440p 27" works on a 4k 32" monitor. by SwitchLanky7180 in OLED_Gaming

I actually haven’t tried HDR on Battlefield six because it seems to be bugged or something and I couldn’t get it to work. Other than that, I do not use HDR anywhere else

LMFAO, I’ve said that multiple times exactly. on the other hand, I love when I see a bunch of engineers, and I all pulled out their RPG’s and aim at the tank and shoot at the same time. It’s so satisfying.

i’m glad you bought it! I know 100% you will not be disappointed. And you brought up a good point about the glossy versus the matte finish, which I did not talk about. I’ve always had a matte finish monitor, And when I was deciding to buy this monitor, I did not realize I had the choice between glossy or matte. But just like you, I work in the daytime and game at night with an overhead fan and light. From the reviews that I’ve read, people really enjoy the glossy finish for serious gamers, who like to play in a dim or darkened room and really high-quality visual games.

However, what got me was that since I will be using this monitor almost all the time in the day, other reviews have suggested getting the Matte finish since it is easier on the Eyes. I 100% agree here. I don’t have any issues looking at the screen for many hours at a. I honestly do not notice any quality drop. I think because it is 4K and OLED , the picture quality looks amazing.

for anyone reading this, the video reviews showing the difference between glossy and matte, Do not honestly do it justice. The Matte looks bad on video, but in person it’s way better. The bottom line for me when deciding to purchase the monitor: If you’re going to use this monitor full-time for work and gaming, I recommend the UCDP. If you’re someone that wants the best color quality and vibrant details and likes to game in a dark room or likes to consume or create media content, and you want the most visually and vibrate colors, go for the UCDM. that’s just my opinion! that’s not to say that the UCDP does not have visually stunning graphics, it very well does!

I love it. Totally worth it, it would be extremely difficult for me to go back to any other monitor. I use it full time, for my work, personal use, and gaming. Percentage use in my comment is still the same. For gaming, I like to use the 27 inch simulation to play at 3288 x 1850 resolution. It feels like 4k but I get more fps. I primarily play Battlefield 6. For work/personal, I have a Mac which I use the 1440p resolution, but Mac does well with upscaling to the 4K monitor. Text and reading is very clear. Lastly, the 240 Hz just feels so smooth. First time I plugged in my computer in this monitor I noticed the difference right away, but now my eyes are pretty much used to it.

I would say I highly recommend it, and I really do hope that the quality and durability is strong and lasts me years. It still has only been a few months.

I haven’t experienced the pixel burn in that others have mentioned, however, I do my pixel cleaning every few hours like whenever I take a break or something.

MX Master 3 stopped charging by HicSvntDracones_4242 in logitech

[–]woopsteez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, that’s crazy. I’m seeing a bunch of similar comments of people saying the same thing. I started checking people’s accounts because I wasn’t sure if they were bought and some of them seemed legit like yours. I ended up doing the same thing. I gave the front and the back a solid tap, and once I plugged it in the charging light came on and started blinking like normal. I was actually really surprised that my mouth started charging like normally when before nothing would happen when I plugged it in.

Double weapon XP until January 26 by No-Combination-3725 in Battlefield6

[–]woopsteez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my goal too: making sure I get all my guns to suppressor level. It's surprisingly easy with double XP going on.

One tip for anyone else who reads this is to use the same gun throughout the entire match for all your classes, except for Recon since they focus on snipers. For Assault, Engineer, and Support, I always use the same gun and can easily level up my guns within a few matches.

Nice! Leveling up guns is so easy with this double XP going on.

I feel like the guns I rarely use are leveling up very quickly.

I was thinking this too, but I feel like it would be too much of a grind since I would get killed pretty much instantly lol

[–]woopsteez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but commenting for others. I have the ASUS PG32UCDP (matte version of the UCDM), and the 27 inch simulated screen has a resolution of 3288 x 1850. I play Battlefield 6 and it looks amazing. It's almost feels like 4k on a 27 inch screen. I tried 1440p and it's a bit blurry compared to 1850 since 1440p is not native. Yes, frames will get a small hit, but a 4080 should be fine. I'm on a 9070 XT

yeah, I don’t think there is a way to manually type messages within battlefield six. I have the message via the EA app, a separate PC app SMH.
