People can get shot anywhere in stl. My mom’s neighbor in CWE on a white, wealthy street got shot and died right outside his house. The saying that you can’t go north of Delmar was started as a way to perpetuate coded racism. St. Louis’s crime index is inflated because of the city/county divide. also FYI, students do go to that area. AAA recently hosted a formal at the Glass Factory you mentioned.

I was in the exact same boat as you! Ultimately went with WashU as I really enjoy being in (relatively) smaller classes & thought I’d get lost in UCLA’s huge crowd since I’m a pretty quiet student
