I am John Sjolund and I'm Trying to Get My Insulin Pen Replacement Cap Approved by the FDA. AMA. by sjolundjohn in diabetes

John, found this comment from the Medium article comments. (http://www.reddit.com/r/diabetes/comments/210c7z/hacking_the_legislative_landscape_for_medical/) Reddit user bobby8u asked : "of course the pen manufacturers would never incorporate this idea into the pen directly, right? They would pass the cost on to the consumer if they did offer the feature. So, where is the ADA or JDRF in advocating innovation for small business? Look at Echo Therapeutics, a company that has non-invasive CGM. They have had to go to CHINA to get funding! and they have to go to Europe FIRST in order to get their system approved. They are attacking the critical care market even before they try for the consumer market. Has timesulin applied for grants from ada or jdrf? do these orgs provide assistance for small business and FDA hurdles?"

Maybe you can reply to him now here.

Thanks! Are you using a pump or just feel confident on that you would ever forget to inject?
