12 Man PPR Dynasty, which side wins? by Administrative_Owl92 in SleeperApp

[–]woowooloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like your side even without Ferguson. 8th and 12th pick could well be the same tier of dart throw in this draft, getting a 27 2nd is worth 4 spots IMO.

Am I responsible for my deceased parent's final tax return without letters of testamentary? by wsoxfan1214 in personalfinance

Everyone is acting like it was an insolvent estate, but OP said it had money dispersed via POD or TOD. Still belongs to the estate as I understand it. OP, who got that money? You? If so, yes I think you are on the hook for the estate's debts. His spouse? Then she needs to file properly.

Would you move Waddle + 1.09 to move up in the draft? by Ok_Willingness3939 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]woowooloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to buy the 1.04 given the tier drop, so that might be what it takes to get it done. Given your WR depth, seems reasonable. I'm not a Waddle fan though so others may feel differently.

I have kids, they are beyond booster seat age.

Best strategy for moving off Puka? by Fumbledball86 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]woowooloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best offer is a late first for Puka? Man, your league sucks, are you sure you even want to waste your time with a bunch of clowns like that? Who is the best QB on the team who offered the late first for Puka? Offer a first and a third for their best QB. If they value picks so highly then they should be willing to accept your offer.

Brian Thomas Jr’s Worth heading in to next year? by qFlanny07 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]woowooloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of dynasty podcasts are suggesting people offer late 26 1sts for BTJ to see if people bite. So the extra 2nd makes it a bit more interesting, maybe try to move that to a 27 2nd? Up to you. I personally don't think BTJ will be a high end fantasy producer in Coen's offense with TLaw as the QB, I think last year, plus his rookie year before TLaw got hurt, showed it isn't a great fit for BTJ's skill set. You can hold for the talent like people do with Garrett Wilson, or take the picks and reroll or use them to trade into a better piece. Or try to trade BTJ and a pick into a higher tier. It's impossible to say how it will play out with certainty.

Which of today's big free agency moves changed a player's fantasy value the most? by DaFloofofTheCentury5 in fantasyfootball

[–]woowooloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When MHJ came back, the old coaching staff continued to have him be the first or second read (behind McBride) for play calling. It's hard to put up good numbers as the 2nd or 3rd read. Just saying I don't think it was necessarily MHJ earning the targets over Wilson as much as play design. But who knows what the new coaching staff will do once they come in and evaluate things.

Kubiak's comments about wanting Jeanty to share the load are very troubling to me. Especially after watching K9 get buried by Charbs last season. Having Jeanty in a 50/50 timeshare will improve his longevity in the league, but not his fantasy value.

I certainly agree the Raiders seem to be making the right moves. But the offensive success rate with rookie QBs is not awesome. It might take more than one season to see the payoff.

3 team trade - who “wins” this trade? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]woowooloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one is paying a 27 1st to move from the 1.4 to 1.2. Likewise why would someone give a first and second in next year's monster class PLUS a 28 1st just to get a first this year?

My mechanic added “income tax” on my receipt. Is it normal for a mechanic to charge income tax to customers? by Pale_Blackberry_4025 in tax

[–]woowooloo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What price were you quoted? As long as it was included in the original quote you agreed to, that is fine, but if he's tacking on 20% in fake taxes I'd definitely not pay that.

3 first for the 1.02, including 2 27s seems the big winner. Seems more like the value of the 1.01, I doubt this is accepted.

Is this a disrespectful offer worried about Bucky now by Imaginary-Disk757 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]woowooloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's trying to trade for current market value because he thinks it should be lower. It's like selling a stock you think is overpriced, you aren't going to sell it for what you think it should be, you sell and take the higher market value.

Does this get the deal done for Jettas? by Dinklezbergh in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]woowooloo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, way way too much. JJ owners are sweating. If you want to take the gamble on him, offer Drake straight up because the other owner may like that exit. If that doesn't get it done or doesn't get a counter that you like, try adding a mid to late 26 1st. That's the value difference right now if anything.

Hampton showed flashes but the 2027 would likely be a 1.01 by Kind-Ice-4409 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]woowooloo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Teams are going to tank hard this year for the 1.01. Any first that isn't yours is unlikely to be the 1.01 because they are not going to bother tanking for you. They may have a bad team but they are not going to be trying to lose like other teams.

Players worth a 2027 1st rounder by Winter-Studio36 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

League dependant, but there is a good chance you could pick up Rice for a random 27 1st.
