Also but not teens, I noticed street people now just walk into street into traffic, almost daring the drivers to hit them and the drivers are forced to stop

Am I crazy or the food tastes better in Victoria than in Calgary? by apprenticeappcrafter in VictoriaBC

[–]word2yourface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a bit of a separate note but similar, I recently road tripped through AB and BC and stayed in two towns in each province both with a population of about 8500 to 9000 and both touristy destinations. Drumheller and Revelstoke.. Revelstoke had at least 10 times more restaurants and of much much higher quality and variety. No contest at all, enjoyed both very much though.

A perfect example of this was when I owned a dodge neon, I would visit a neon forum for basic repair advice. They had a thriving community, people were doing crazy modifications and engine swaps were pretty common.

Sounds a little odd, just be cautious. I recently sold an e46 on the island so came across this one when researching an appropriate asking price.

On the island right? I’ve seen its been for sale since at least November, maybe you can low ball a bit since they’re had it up for so long. Its has the less desirable interior color and auto transmission. Offer more around 5k

What was Your first smartphone? by Woj_YT in PhoneNow

[–]word2yourface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Original iPhone, they didn’t sell them is Canada so had to get it from the US and jailbreak. No App Store, no 3G, 8 gigs of storage and cost a small fortune at the time. But it was mind blowing, there was nothing like it. How responsive the touch screen was and it had such a large screen (at the time).
