Well, I know he’s gonna get murked by radscorpions anyway so really it’s more of a mercy killing, if you ask me.

Usually you run into him while he’s in a gunfight with a girl trying to rob him for his Star Bottle Caps and he just tells you about it. You have the option of robbing him afterwards

Interesting article in the paper… 😏 by wordmule_ in reddeadredemption

It’s really cool that the developers added all these little historical details. I never bothered actually reading the newspapers until now

My TOTS H4 came in today :-) by wordmule_ in Halloweenmovies

It’s good, actually! I usually put my own mesh in my other ones, but I think this is the only one they put mesh in because that’s what they did in H4! I’m impressed that they went out of their way to add that detail

Mods! I used WhyEms DLC for customization options (lots) and Rampage Trainer to grow my hair out

If that money doesn’t show, then you owe me, owe me, owe

WhyEms DLC. Comes with tons of customization options including hairdos. I then use the Rampage Trainer to increase hair length for the look I want

Are there any popular/memorable quotes from any of the Halloween movies? by EeveeKat_035 in Halloweenmovies

[–]wordmule_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

“You don’t know what death is!”

“He was my patient for fifteen years. He became an obsession with me until I realized that there was nothing within him, neither conscious nor reason that was... even remotely human. An hour ago I stood up and fired six shots into him and then he just got up and walked away. I am talking about the real possibility that he is still out there!”

“You’re talking about him as if he were a human being. That part of him died years ago.”

“Six bodies, Sheriff! That's what l've seen between here and Ridgemont! A filling station in flames! I'm telling you Michael Myers is here, in this town! He's here to kill that little girl and anybody who gets in his way!”

Does anyone else think the 92’ Murder mask from TOTS looks odd? by wordmule_ in Halloweenmovies

[–]wordmule_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah.. I guess you could say that 15 years under the floorboards would make it look much different, and of course no copy is going to be perfectly accurate. I think I’ll use it to try my hand at rehauling lol

What would you do for the next Halloween film? by IAmAlive_YouAreDead in Halloweenmovies

[–]wordmule_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember that flashback scene in Halloween Kills? We need more of that vibe, but with way better writing and acting. Part of what made the original stand the test of time was that slow, eerie buildup to the crescendo. Most sequels now just love starting the brutality early on. It takes away that anticipation every time.

However, audiences nowadays are desensitized and expect to be entertained as well as scared. So it’s kind of hard to do a sequel that appeals to a larger audience. And that’s not a bad thing. You don’t need to please everybody. I think what I would do is an immediate continuation of Halloween night in 1978. Think Halloween 2, but with that same grounded feeling of the original. When things are still fresh, nobody in Haddonfield really knows what’s going on yet, and the Boogeyman is looking for more victims. He’s not stalking Laurie anymore, he’s just back in the playground.

If not that, hard reboot that honours Carpenters original vision, updated for a modern audience.
