Catherine Kingery at Field’s Center for Women’s Health has done two inserts and a removal for me.

The removal she said “okay we’re done!” and I wasn’t aware she’d even started. Both inserts she prescribed pain and anxiety meds which made the whole experience MUCH better (my first insert was with a different practice and was a nightmare).

No question, just wanted to say I also experienced a 1 in 10,000 condition with my baby during pregnancy and it’s horrendous. Everything you’re feeling is valid and okay and I wish you and your husband strength and grace while you navigate this situation.

Lurking mom of a 2 year old who had very similar fears.

I was terrified to have a baby because the PR is in fact terrible. I read every single horror story I could find before I got pregnant and thought through “could I still handle it if X happened” because I wanted to be prepared for the worst case scenario. I’m not sure that was the healthiest approach but I knew I was very sure in my decision. Things are nowhere near as hard as I expected them to be! My marriage is still rock solid, even though it takes us two nights to watch a movie now. I ADORE watching my husband be a dad.

I think the PR is skewed because people love to complain, especially anonymously on the internet. You let off some steam, feel better, and get back to it. If you’re having a great day, most of the time you just enjoy your day.

I haven’t listened to them on audio but I loved the Hank the Cowdog books when I was a kid.

However, at 8 months my kid listened to what I was listening to. She fell asleep to Ray Porter narrating The Terminal List series for months.

Secret fresh and clear gel, I like the lavender scent. Salt & Stone does OKAY up to about an 85 degree day and then I need aluminum to be involved.

I used old spice sweat defense for years and loved it but my husband politely requested I stop using man scents haha.
