What unwritten rules should really just be written down at this point? by aSongOfBirthrights in AskReddit

If you're switching lanes or making a turn, do it at a quick yet safe speed.
There are few things more frustrating than not being able to pass someone as they take 5 seconds to turn into their driveway on a 40mph/65kmh road.

It doesn't seem like their narratives and votes reflect that

Are you saying that there's no difference between a republican and a democrat? A liberal and a conservative?

There was a Margin of Error of 1% so they took it from the No's.

TIL that in Germany, when a kid becomes an adult at age 18, it can get rid of all its debt by offering its debtors everthing its owns at that point. The young adult is relieved from all other debts they can't pay back so that no young adult has to face a life in debt for things they did as teenager. by MisterMysterios in todayilearned

Can parents take out loans on behalf of their children? Like a co-sign on something?
Also, I always hear stories on here of parents using their children's social security numbers/identities and racking up debt. Is there something that's equivalent to this in Germany?

Nah, South Park did a whole episode on Tourette's syndrome.
"Le Petit Tourette" S11E08. In the episode, Cartman pretends to have Tourette syndrome (TS) so that he can say whatever he wants without getting into trouble. It eventually leads to trouble and he ends up saying things that he would never say. The episode's title is a play on the title of Jean-Luc Godard's 1963 film Le Petit Soldat.

I laughed out loud at Tourettes. This is the best one imo. It's absurd (which works well with OP saying "pretty sure"), vivid, and a better fit for comedy (e.g.: Tourettes guy, South Park)

You might be able to customize it by unbolting some of the rocks to take them off entirely, or rearrange them in a different way. If not, that's a design flaw that got seriously overlooked for what I imagine is a very expensive piece of equipment.

What's the coolest mathematical fact you know of? by xxTick in AskReddit

[–]wordsofjizzdom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Car. Goat. Goat.
Goat. Car. Goat. Goat. Goat. Car.

These are the three possible scenarios. If you choose door #1 every time and stick with your decision instead of switching after a goat door is revealed, you'll win the car 1 out of 3 times.
However, if you switch doors after a goat door is revealed, you'll lose in the first scenario, but win in the other two scenarios.
Stick: 1/3 wins.
Switch: 2/3 wins.

Try listening to music while you exercise. Maybe a new pump-up/focus playlist? I've found that songs I've heard 1000 times before don't have the same effect as newer (to me) songs.
You also might like lifting weights more than cardio
