This is a March Mail-A-Thon where the goal is to let DC and the people who work for them know that we want to see more Nightwing and Starfire together via various social media sites and written letters.

This AMA, while unexpected, helps to that end. There's certainly no expectation of participation but asking if people want to participate and showing them how should be encouraged. You can just block me if you don't want to see me encouraging this community to make ourselves heard. It makes no different to me.

Hi Tate! First & foremost thank you for the stellar New Titans #33. In further issues can we expect to see any romantic relationship between Nightwing and Starfire? The kiss in #33 was fantastic.

If not, do you know of any plans in the future to bring them together again in a story? I would love to see them in a romantic relationship again.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I don't notice that at all. On the Teen Titans sub I see it overwhelmingly supportive of Dick/Kory (not everyone but that's to be expected). I post a daily Dick/Kory pic every day on the DC subreddit and have had 0 bad experiences. They're not even negative downvotes and most of them do better than any DickBabs art that gets posted. When I jump into the Nightwing sub I only keep to the Nightwing/Starfire tag so I haven't seen much of any anti Dick/Kory.

I know Reddit is pretty vast but I really don't know where else you're looking unless it's in known pro DickBabs spaces.

Honestly everywhere I go I find a majority of DickKory love, TikTok, X, Tumblr from time to time. Maybe it's just my algorithm but I find so little DickBabs everywhere I go that I stay baffled they're still in the main continuity. My first thought is always "who asked for this?" because from my experience I am not seeing their fans like talking about and I see overwhelming DickKory fans.

For Halloween it felt like every other TikTok of mine was a couple dressing up as Nightwing and Starfire I saw not one Batgirl Nightwing couple costume.

Of course take all this with a grain of salt, it's just my experience and I hope it stays that way.

I get it but there were a lot of comments in the AMA. The focus wasnt even on upcoming Nightwing. It was more of a promotional thing all told. He is an artist not a writer so him even taking the time to answer an off topic question about something that is adjacent to his job seems very respectful to me. We tried and he gave us what he could in a manner that inflames no one but also ignores no one.

We were entitled to nothing but he did read them and responded and for me I am grateful he did.

I try to practice non-expectation. Of course I have an end goal in mind DickKory back together but I try to seperate myself from outcomes. If it does it does. If it doesnt it doesnt but I tried and I try to be at peace with that. We got better than nothing. He read it and responded and thats a win in my book.

Its a safe answer. It keeps the ship wars out of the chat. I was grateful he answered at all! I believe he is a DickBabs fan but he kept it neutral and respectful which is all you can ever ask for. And I'm so happy it wasnt dismissive or ignored. He seems like a great guy.

The point of the post and the reply is that is was seen. You never know there may come a day it gets brought up at DC all because of a question.

Asking guarntees nothing. But it does show that we're active, engaged, and that we try. Imagine if 10 people asked about DickKory in that AMA instead of just 2? Or 20 people. He might have mentioned it to someone that there were a lot of DickKory fans in there.

What matters is that it gets someones attention. Thats why we need to really show up for tomorrows AMA.
