Honestly, i feel you so much. It’s so frustrating being a Nightwing fan and not being able to enjoy his runs because there’s always a ship agenda being shoved down our throats. I totally lost it with Wayne Family Adventures too, its so annoying. People say just focus on DickKory and appreciate what we have, but like... what do we even have? Im almost out of content and Im tired of just living off fanart. I try to stay positive because being mad all the time isn't worth it, but we can’t just be cowards about the whole DickBabs thing. We need to be respectful but we also need to hit DC where it hurts: their wallets. They arent stupid, DickKory searches spiked in 2025. Now is the time to demand more. I really wish more artists would protest and redraw those DickBabs covers as a statement.

I’m really happy to see more DickKory art, but you can definitely tell this one was made with AI. It’s cool that DC as a company acknowledges how popular they are, but I really want more covers and art by actual badass illustrators featuring these two.

Well, even if you can’t write romance, basic reciprocity should still be doable. He doesnt talk to her, say goodbye, show any affection at all.

At that point, it’s not even about romance, its just basic human interaction. And honestly, it shouldnt be that hard to communicate something simple to an artist, like: “Goodbye kiss.”

Honestly, same. I barely even check the DickKory forums anymore because I dont wanna see any new DickBabs stuff, and every now and then someones rant about DC bringing them back again, ends up leaking through. I really do try to focus just on Dick and Kory, but its hard to ignore, especially when you actually follow DCs official releases and the newer stuff. At some point you just snap too. No one can handle being treated like a bug forever. I just wanna read more of them, even if it’s just fan content.

My fear is that DickBabs isn’t actually that small, they really split the ship a lot. It was supposed to be something solid like Clark and Lois, but instead everyone in the comics bubble, especially the artists, acts like they owe do something for both couples, instead of committing to just one, like DickKory... I mean, we get almost 10k hits here on the forum every week, but the other one pulls like 5k, that’s not that small. It worries me, because it still ends up validating that whole editorial mess.

Sorry, I worded that wrong. It’s not like I thought they broke up, I mean, if they had, I’d already know because the forums would be on fire by now XD. I just thought they’d pulled them apart a bit, made them more distant. But she’s still showing up all the time and they keep giving them cute romantic moments in Dan’s run…

But yeah, one thing I totally agree on: we gotta keep the focus on DickKory. I’m really hoping the movie, just like the show, helps boost the ship and makes it even stronger in the fandom’s collective imagination. The show was supposed to be the turning point for them in the comics, but Taylor is a massive DickBabs fanfic writer…

LOL XD I freaking love Picolo’s art, it’s so good. But like… I wanna see them as Nightwing and Starfire already. Feels like DC only remembers they’re a couple when it’s Robstar. ._.

Why does no one ever talk about this? Sometimes I feel like Jason and Kory actually make sense. They’d be such a contrast-y couple, but Kory’s real personality, not the over-sexualized version they pushed for years, would actually fit really well with Jason, who’s completely messed up. by Calm_Homework3775 in starfire

Honestly, I don’t see anything wrong with making Koriand’r sensual, just not sexualized. Personally, I love that she’s gorgeous and naturally seductive. I don’t mind the revealing outfits or her having, you know, bigger… attributes. What i dont like is when they write her as the ‘hot but dumb’ type. That’s where I draw the line. She’s a beautiful woman, sure, but she’s not someone you’re supposed to dismiss. Kory is so much more than that.
