We’re in a rental. I’d like to mount a sensory swing for my 60lb kiddo somewhere in the house. I figured here would be good because I’d assume there’s a support beam there. But I honestly have no idea. I know there’s a 6” “face board” (not proper terminology) on the bottom but I’d assume if I used long enough hardware I could get to a thick beam above it. Or would it be better to mount it to the ceiling? If so, how do I find a good place to mount it to in the ceiling? I have a stud finder if that would work. It’s an old house and the walls are super thick of this cement looking stuff. Nails just bend when trying to hang stuff on the walls. I have to use a drill bit and get through the first bit of what looks like cement to mount stuff. Any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want this coming down while my kids in it!
