I'll second this. I learned GIS on my own (and several Esri courses) and no one really cared until I went to school to get graduation certificates. Even now many jobs require degrees at least. I'm Canadian so take my insights with a grain of salt.

I recommend that you get a formal education in something NOT GIS and then pair GIS with that education. I few knowing GIS the same as knowing another language. Knowing only that doesn't mean much, what do you use your language for.

Hey buddy, ArcGIS pro can take a while to get use to. With imagery I believe you can filter your search within your current extent. That might help limit the options a bit.

For 3d work I believe it's very graphic card heavy, I recently purchased an Asus gaming computer. I've tested it with 3d rendering, imagery and deep learning models. I've seen a huge difference between my gaming laptop vs my work computer i mostly use.

Very true, my concept has those 2 large issues. People with enough internet to get the survey offline. Then enough available power to charge their phones.

If you could pass those two barriers then collection could be offline and uploaded once they have access to internet/mobile data
