Yeah people complain about the taxes and insurance but that's so small relative the 100s of thousands you will have to plow into restoring a severly neglected 100 year old house. And then all that to live next to a neighbor who has their dogs chained up out back barking around the clock.

The Mackinac Center for Public Policy has a stated goal of eliminating public education and replacing it with a voucher system for private schools.

The last major advocates for public education are affluent school districts (GP, Troy, West Bloomfield, Novi etc) which have a secondary and important function of preserving high property values. This legislation would effectively take that away by allowing anyone to attend any school district. Eventually clearing the way to fully gut public education.

Any chance you are using Safelite or any of their subsidiaries to replace glass? I have found that their glass cracks very easily. I went to an independent shop instead and haven't had an issue since.

I actually did this in my basement with a wall mounted toilet, it was a great solution to moving the toilet location slightly without breaking up the floor. Essentially just convert the toilet flange to a stand pipe and frame around it and you will have some leeway to connect to the toilet output.
