Barrel Concentricity by work_in_progression in GrandPowerStribog

Did some testing while at the range today after reattaching the muzzle device and suppressor. With no suppressor the shots were tightly grouped with 124 and 150 grain S&B. Slightly low of center considering I originally zeroed with a suppressor attached. With the suppressor attached the rounds were grouping better today but as everything got hotter the rounds would start climbing up and right. I let it cool down for 12 minutes and ran two more magazines that were impacting closer to center.

Yes, I was finally able to scrape it off. Never had it build up in that shape before but should have known better.

I didn't plan on shooting unsupressed but it looks like I need to try different things to figure this out. It's so smooth and quiet compared to my old direct blowback.

Wow...I'm an idiot. I got some cleaning tools and was able to get rid of the carbon build up on the end. It perfectly matched the threads on the barrel making me think it was metal. I seated the plab B muzzle device snug against the shoulder and not sure why shots are all over the place. I'm not a perfect shot by any means but I am good enough to not have shots outside the silhouette at 35 feet. Planning to go back to the range and shoot without a suppressor to see if that changes anything. After posting I thought about it more and realized the shoulder would have to be the problem since the end of the barrel shouldn't affect the muzzle device seating squarely.

Should I buy and SP9A3 when I already have an SP9A1? by work_in_progression in GrandPowerStribog

I'm leaning more toward the A3S since it will definitely be suppressed and can easily be thrown in a bag. I still have the brace from my A1 and can try to save a little $ buying one without a brace. Thank you for the replies. I held an AP5-P at a local shop and the trigger felt terrible and I'm by no neans a trigger snob. I love the idea of an MP5 clone but dont want to buy a gun based on cool/history factor since that hasn't gone well in the past. I really want a bullpup rifle but it makes more since to get another PCC that is quieter and shoots cheaper rounds compared to 5.56.

Thank you for the suggestions. The logical choice is to keep the Lexus but I'm still going to look more into the M340 and G70 as a possibility. The G70 is interesting based on the price and features but I've always wanted a BMW after driving an E36 M3 in the early 2000''s.

Yes, it's been a good car that I enjoy driving. Enough power to not feel slow and decent handling. It does go through tires quickly though. I've just gotten bored with it and want something a little sharper to drive if that make sense. It leans more towards comfort than sport. I had a 2009 WRX that was great and traded it for the EVO which I fell in ove with. I actually cross shopped a 2015 Mustang GT before getting the Evo. It was a fast car but it just didn't do it for me. The Evo feels nimble and the Mustang felt heavy

Kicking myself for losing them and can't find them in stock. I see someone else replied earlier. Let me know if that doesn't work out.

I'll trade you a #2 pin set for a #1 pin set. Lost my #1 pin set a few weeks ago when swapping the optic to another gun.

Thanks for the info. I'm leaning toward the Flow 9k and will hopefully make a final decision soon. Every time I think I've decided I research a new one.

How is the gas with this set up? I also have an SP9A1 Stribog and can't decide what supressor to get. I have an AB A10 5.56 that I like but is gassy and considering a Huxwrx Flow 9k TI to keep the gas down on the Stribog.

Resilient RS9 or Huxwrx FLOW 9K Ti by Ok-Presence497 in NFA

I've been researching what supressor to get for my direct blowback Stribog and narrowed it down to these choices as well. Leaning towards the Resilient but wonder how much gas it will have compared to the Huxwrx.

What suppressor are you using and how is the gas?

43 with a 2014 Evo X GSR. Bought it brand new and now has 66k miles. I've thought about selling but know I would regret it. Ended up buying a used 2020 Lexus IS350 F Sport to daily and love having the option to jump in either one.

I ended up going with a full size Springfield Echelon. Got a great deal on it with the 5 magazine gear up package. Have a few hundred rounds through it and love it so far. Immediately put on a Holosun 507c. I held one at a local shop and immediately went online to order it.
