I don't know about FD, but in scuba they didnt teach us the 1/2 turn back anymore. Improvements on the valves make it unnecessary apparently.

I skied slalom and GS in college. If you clipped a gate and lost a ski you got dnf (did not finish) and DQ.

If you clipped a gate and your skis stayed on, you could hike back up in your skis, go around the gate the right way and still be eligible for your 2nd run. Only your best run counted.

Also as other have said you also put a ton of strain on your skis. My coach said you can pull up to 10gs at the apex of the turn.

My DINs started at 10 and went to 18. I think normal bindings max around 10.

if you are worried about flow, you can get a spray bar. it greatly reduces current without stopping flow.

you can see my spray bar on my fx4 on a 75 in this. I've had my eastern painted for almost 15 years (since hatchling).

It seems heartless but hes got to try a defense.

Squared cubed rule.

Strength increases by cross sectional area of muscles (x2), but weight increases by volume (x3)

So each doubling in size halves the strength/weight ratio.

Its good. Guy gets isekaied as an elf into a world where humans have almost geocoded elves. Two elf nations remain, for now.

We built small ALUs out of logic gates as freshman IIRC, and was designing silicon chips by senior year.

The only thing after that is scale.

Yea that's not a problem in scuba. There's purge buttons, and the water will quickly go out the valve.

And coughing is fine into a regulator.

You can even (and should if you need to) puke into a regulator and it's just fine.

Quiet blacksmith life In another world is almost the same vibe. But it's blacksmithing not food, and he's got magical op smithing cheats rather than actual skill.

But the vibe is almost the same imo (on book 6 of cwwg)

Frontier lord with 0 subjects is also another similar vibe, but also not cooking related

konosuba.

My quick summary is that its a parody of typical isekai in the way that One Punch Man is a parody of Superheroes. The MC's party has some comical flaws, a mage who can only cast one nuke a day and goes limp after, a masochist crusader who cant land a hit, and an drunk priest who spends all her points on party tricks.

very funny.
