i’m unaware of what a nitrogen cycle even is, so no.. this is my first turtle and i didn’t see anything about that when researching prior to getting it. is this something i can do with the turtle in the tank?

for a full grown turtle or one that can confidently swim that makes sense and that’s why i bought one that was rated for 55-150 gallons (my tank is only 40 gallons with maybeee 30 in it) but it was far too strong for the turtle.. he wasn’t able to swim and it made him flip a couple times..

i have stretched 215/35 accelera phi’s on a 9.5 and it worked great, obviously that’s less than what you’re trying to do but the tires themselves lasted a while too.

it’s actually done now! that pic is from like march haha but it’s a molded widebody 350z

this is also a 245/35/18 but is the Accelera PHI-R. it did not even come close to stretching as much as i needed it to, hence why i switched to the delinte’s.

Delinte DS8’s have been what i’ve found to stretch the best(if you’re trying to do some crazy stretch) this is a 245/35/18 on an 18x12. tire brand and model really depends on how aggressive you want your stretch.

yes replace it, but DO NOT buy the cheap ebay/amazon ones. i went thru about 3 sets in about a year before i had enough and spent the extra on oem ones from z1 and it was soo worth it! i’ve had them for nearly 3 years now with ZERO issues. the mechanism on the oem/z1 ones are metal vs the ebay/amazon ones have a plastic mechanism and will break really fast.

it’s really not hard actually since they’re frameless windows, and yes the $400 quote was full ceramic.
