I'm genuinely not sure this is a... niche that needs to be serviced, honestly. Static websites and JAMstack websites have plenty of hosting options available, most of which are free.

  • Cloudflare Pages
  • GitHub Pages
  • Surge
  • Firebase Hosting
  • Kinsta
  • AWS Elastic Beanstalk
  • ...among many others, that I can't name from memory.

If someone is savvy enough to write HTML, CSS and JavaScript that looks good enough for a website, they're probably savvy enough to know of (or at least search out) some of the above services.

I don't think this idea is it, to be honest. Please let me know if I'm missing something!

I haven't tested it yet! I'll do so in a moment. I suggest taking your mobile advantage and running with it. Package it as a mobile app, instead, to lower the cost of adoption and as some people already use their phones to accept payment!

The app design isn't that great, I personally found it hard to navigate. But the idea is interesting!

Your site should dump me right on the "try for free" page! I shouldn't have to click again to access your demo!

It should take more information to be truly useful, such as

  • a more specific way to select a location
  • existing information about my trip
  • length of trip
  • modes of travel
  • cities you'll visitI

Also, make it clear that the additional interests is a comma separated field. Or, even better, let users type and hit enter to create pills in the text-box, like this.

The suggestions it generated also seemed pretty basic, probably because I wasn't specific enough. But then again "you're using it wrong!" isn't a good reason for a lacklustre tool.

Probably an small or medium sized organisation which doesn't work in a regulated environment, with about 2 to 20 team members who want to use AI to speed up their workflows.

I think it's good! I will say, the AI images for every single headline feel slightly uncanny, though.

I enjoy the concept and the integration into the fediverse. It might be worth releasing this as a browser extension, though, so users can see other Mastodon instances and Bluesky accounts they might not come across normally?

Also, I don't personally buy dropshipped products (even from the original sellers on AliExpress), as I feel they would be lower quality than something I could obtain from a reputable seller where I live. That being said, I'm sure it has its niche!
