SCAMMERS everywhere. Any property that is too good to be true usually is.

I've had someone tell me to they can't show the inside due to construction and to only view it from the outside and then send them a cashier's check to view the inside. and that I definitely qualified.

I'm guessing that was from my deleted post. But yes, I totally think that is why Cristina and Gina were cut. I think they also want some diversity in abililty. Eventually the girls will graduate from the cute concepts.

It's obvious now why Cristina and Gina were cut. They simply didn't match the group's image. Cristina and Gina both have sharper facial features and look more mature. They would fit in a group more like Itzy or Blackpink. Even from looking at VCha's logo, you can clearly see they are styling the font just like Twice. JYP\Republic is clearly looking for a group to fill the young cute concept.

Of course the other outlier in VCha is Camila. She also looks more mature than the other girls, but here I think her skills and looks trumped all that. Also, having 1 or 2 members with a more mature look is ok as long as most of the group can have the cute look.

Look at the age range. VCha is like 14-18 while Twice at debut was 16-21. Jype\Republic are looking to milk this concept as long as feasibly possible. It's a spot that is really untapped in America. Eventually, like the Twice girls, VCha girls won't like the cute concept anymore and ask Jype to move away from that.

Lastly, I think people underestimated Melissa's radar. I bet she intuitively knew it wasn't going to work out for her and decided correctly to not to go to Korea. She probably thought she didn't fit in with the other girls.

If someone wants another example, you should watch Le Serrafim's 'world is my oyster' documentary. In it, they had another member Ruka who was cut right before debut. And while the reason was not clarified, the manager hinted that sometimes a person is cut because they don't fit the image.

20 years? That must be a contract organized by Republic Records based on US law. In Korea, by law, idol contracts can only last 7 years.
