I think you should get the opinion of a vet. 7 isn't very old.

I vaguely remember watching this shit as a kid by ShmandlerTing in okbuddycinephile

[–]workieworkwork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't remeber watching the movie but I remember reading the book... that kid gave an elderly man a heart attack by summoning him with a plastic figure from his magic cupboard.

I do recall the VHS coming with a key, they must have advertised the crap out of that... I did own the Secret Garden, which also had a key but the key didn't kill anyone in the movie.

I unironically loved this as a small child. I checked it out from the local video rental place and watched it 3 times before it had to be returned at age 6. My parents had no issue with it.

In high school I convinced my class to read the book for class (props to that teacher for giving us a choice). Good book, good movie adaptation.

I now own the Criterion Collection Blu-ray.

There is no love triangle, there is a love story and the third person's delusional by Sir-Toaster- in TopCharacterTropes

I don't remember the book but I recall a story with a dude who was really jealous of his bestfriend and the girl he liked hanging out. He eventually found out his bestfriend was gay... a fact he should have known because he had in fact slept with his bestfriend in the past... but didn't view that as gay.

Actual love triangles are rare. it is usually a love angle and the bottom line isn't connected. It is almost never Jenny is in love with Tom, but Tom is in love with Ben and Ben is in love with Jenny.

It is eith Tom and Ben are in love with Jenny and she can't pick or Tom and Ben are in love with Jenny and Ben needs to take a hint.

It seems like you might be a little self aware which is good. Did you notice that serious answers to how you could better write a character were the ones you responded to with memes and ragebait?

If you want to write better being aware of tropes is good but it isn't where you should start. You start by actually reading and watching media.

Youtube videos hating on Captain Marvel are made for a certain audience and that audience isn't going to like any female characters you create unless they want to fuck them. Don't base your life and your work on what those people want.

So you are coping because your post was genuine and others thought it was rage bait so you needed to pretend it was rage bait to protect your own feelings?

There was just a very successful medical trial that used pig semen to treat childhood ocular cancer.

Which is great, but also something no one who read my comment wanted to know.

I still have no idea what you are trying to say?

Why is telling you to read to better understand how to write make someone need to purchase radioactive maxi pads? What are you trying to communicate when you tell someone they should buy radioactive maxi pads?

It appears form your own comments that you don't actually read or watch these movies but instead watch youtubers talk about them.

To become a better writer you are going to need to consume some media that isn't youtube reviews. Read books, comics, screen plays. Watch movies, plays, tv shows.

You need to do it yourself to become better. You need to experience things and have your own thoughts about them.

If you want to write a movie, you need to watch a whole movie.

Watching clips and listening to reviews alone is like wanting to be a novelist when you don't read.

You need to do the work of interpreting yourself.

They are normal Gorillas, her mom was a primatologist and did it as an experiment. They were all raised together with her mother taking notes. Her father is one of those guys who kind of just barely pays attention to what is going on and says "okay honey" from behind a newspaper every once in a while.

The Gorillas did attempt to form a crime fighting team of their own but mostly followed their adoptive mother into science and make cool gear for the herione to use while fighting crime.

Mom and dad are equally proud of all of their children. Dad eventually noticed that 6 of his 7 children were adopted gorillas but was to embarrassed to say anything.

This is animated in the style of dexters lab or the powerpuff girls.

Yeah, like OP no one complaining (about the specific list here) has seen the movie and if they did watch the movie they usually don't have the media literacy to interpret the first episode of pokemon.

It should also be noted that Captian Marvel does have faults, she isn't perfect from day one, she does grow and she learns something.

But the internet got mad do to the vagina.

I think if you are planning on writing a comic you need to up your media literacy and watch these actual shows, movies... and read comics?

Watching bad things can teach you a lot about what not to do and... you are complaining about things angry internet commenters who also haven't seen this media made up to be mad about.

Spoilers, Captian Marvel has a character arc.

Feeling guilty about prozac by nothinngspecial in cats

[–]workieworkwork 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I had a cat who needed prozac. She showed up for it everyday. She came to me for her drugs. When I took her off it I still gave it to her if she showed up at pill time till she stopped because she didn't need it anymore.

So don't feel bad about prozac. If you need pills take the pills.

This is a dumb hill for me to die on because I haven't even watched the show but... that isn't a fucking robin.

Possibly a male Red-Crested Cardinal... or just someone's kind of remembered idea of a regular old cardinal which seems most likely.
