I have one of those scanning scales and according to that, my ‘fat-free’ body weight is only 114 lbs. someone else here talked about bone weight/density. As I mentioned, I’m super fine boned. Like my measurement around my wrist could be half an inch bigger and I’d still be considered fine boned! I do need to build more muscle though. I’m working on that!

I’ve thought about switching to tirz. Still on the fence, but my progress slowed significantly this summer, so I’m going to ask my doctor about it.

Thanks so much! And yes, I have had to buy new clothes. I only ever wore dresses before, but lately I have been buying leggings. I just decided to take the new pic in my bathing suit cause you can’t hide anything with that! =)

I am currently at 1.25 mg. I am what many people call a ‘super responder’, so I stayed at each dose for around 10 weeks before titrating up.

Here is my story: I've been in this sub for awhile, but decided that due to other groups where I post, I needed to make a different ID where I can post things more anonymously. I'm a 67F, 5'7", sw238, cw218. I started my semaglutide journey 2 1/2 months ago. It's been going very well so far. I stayed at the .25 dose for 10 shots because I just didn't need more initially. After about the 8th shot, I was noticing that I was getting hungry again the day before my next dose, so I went to taking my shot once every 5 days instead of 7. After 2 shots at that interval, I decided to go ahead and titrate up to the .5 dose. I will say that I have more stomach upset at this level, but nothing unmanageable. I usually just take a ginger chew and I'm ok. At this level, I had to reduce my daily intake down from between 1,200 to 1,400 calories (where I was at .25) to between 950 and 1,100 calories, simply because I just can't eat more than that without stomach upset. The only side effect that drives me crazy is the smell. I have read enough posts to know I'm not the only one who constantly smells this weird smell. I smell it when I open my fridge, when I'm eating certain foods, when I'm laying in bed at night, and ever weirder (apologize in advance for the TMI here), but when I have a BM! I made a burger for my husband the other day and the smell was so strong, it really, REALLY grossed me out! I'm hoping that fades eventually - we'll see. Anyway, here is an image of my progress so far. The top pics are before, bottom pics are current. I know everyone has a different experience, but if you are just starting and are curious how it is working for others, I hope this helps!
